Please Note that there are Counterfeit knives that are currently being marketed with the AKC logo that are not actually made by AKC . These copies are China made knives and are being sold as the real italian ones. .... Continued.
AKC does not condone these knives and is seeking action against the company marketing these fake knives but many of these counterfeit knives are already out in the system so use caution when buying . Know who you are buying from and do not be afraid to ask questions . There are also copies of the leverlettos out there with a fake AKC logo . Please do not buy these fake knives . Its one thing to buy a copy/clone and sell it as a clone but when people market a product as the real deal when it is not and have them marked with another companies logo , it should not be tolerated .
A quick way of telling the fake etches from the real akc etched ones is look at where the bottom points of the triangle end above the MADE IN ITALY .
Also the spacing between the letters is different on both .
